Robyne's cottage felt just like a home. Plenty of room with the 3 bedrooms, large kitchen and beautiful back deck that we spent so much time on. Neighbours are in view, but far enough away to still feel very private. Our dog even made a friend with the neighbour beagel Lucy, and she was so friendly! The waterfront is as described, so we weren't disappointed at all. They have 2 kayaks, and we took the canoe out every day to swim and find places to hike in the park. Birch lake which is just a short canoe is beautiful for swimming, we were there every day. Frontenac provided so many adventures, we had a new lake or hike to visit every day and wish we could have stayed longer to do more. We even went into town one day to buy supplies and check out a local winery and little shops. Toilet is a bit fussy at times, but it didn't bother us much. Robyne's boyfriend came promptly to help us with it. Great spot, great communication, will definitely be staying again.

The cottage is very homey feeling and has all the necessities to make for a great stay. The neighbors are by far some of the most polite and welcoming people ive ever met. My daughter hit it off with the great granddaughter at the cottage on the same lot. At night time the amount of fire flies that lit up the surroundings was breath taking. There is no swimming at the actual cottage due to the weeds and abundance of lilly pads, but the fishing made up for that. There is a nice beach 5min away that is a full sand bottom and fulfills the need for swimming. Had the chance to go there for a night swim to see the true beauty. I have never seen the stars be so bright with the sky so clear. The stay here was amazing and Robyne is such a great host. She replied in a timely manner. Gave all the ins and outs of the area and what to expect. She also resolved any issues flawlessly. This cottage is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed.

Tranquil perfect place for canoeing kayak. Quiet. Lots of room outdoors for family activities.

Such a beautiful location! The cottage is on such a quiet lake, and the view across the lake to Frontenac Provincial Park is stunning. It is great to explore Kinsgsford Lake and Birch Lake, there is so much to see. Even though you can't swim at the cottage, a short canoe or kayak ride to Strawberry Island to swim off the rocks is great fun. It's a private island but is not used most of the year and it is fun to explore. Frontenac Park has hiking trails that you can paddle to as well. There are plenty of boats, and they do have some life jackets, but bring your own if you can because they are quite worn. The cottage is a true cottage, no bells or whistles. The mattresses are uncomfortable, but is has everything you need, is spacious for 6 people, and has a lovely deck to spend the mornings on drinking coffee and looking at the view. There's also a place to have a fire at night, and the fireflies are amazing! Overall, we had a great time and will return next year hopefully!

Enjoyed our stay so much and my girls had so much fun with the boats and fishing rods. The view from the deck terrace is just worth the booking. The BBQ grill made our meals awesome and the fire pit was amazing in evening marshmallows and bedtime stories. Be prepared to fight the wildlife for survival (i.e. insects). Robyne is a thoughtful host and quite responsive and considerate. The cottage lake is not ideal for swimming but Desert Lake is 10 mins drive.
