We stayed at Paradiso, as it’s appropriately called, for 2 lovely weeks. The house has a beautiful situation on a secluded bay with a beach that is only accessible by pedestrians who walk past on the footpath to and from Opua to Paihia. Once we got over staring at the incredible view, we realized the interior of the house is just as nice as the exterior - even nicer than the photos indicate. The kitchen is well equipped, and we took advantage of that by cooking many meals in it. The bathroom’s heated floor and towel rack were very nice to have during cool weather. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfy and every room had a spacious feel. The outside deck off the living room is a wonderful extension of the living space and provides a nice vantage point for the view of the water. We would highly recommend staying at Paradiso for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Such an oasis! We felt so fortunate to share this magical spot for a couple of days. It is the perfect bach with possibly the best location in all of Paihia.

Of our two week North Island holiday, this was by far our favourite place to stay. The setting and view are incredible and the house is a quintessential kiwi bach. Stunning garden and guests are invited to pick flowers and eat the fruit from the garden which I thought was lovely and welcoming. It was comfortable and felt like we were staying in a friend’s home. Michael responded quickly to any questions I had and we also met lovely Yvette and Ash who told us lots about walks etc in the area. Overall a fantastic stay and can’t wait to come back for another holiday.

This airbnb is in a beautiful secluded spot and the home is very clean and worked perfectly for 6 guests. Michael was proactive with his communication and sent us instructions on how to get to the home which was helpful! Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Northland!

Thank you Michael for having us, what an absolute treasure of a place, peaceful, private with beautiful garden and plants to surround the place. The rooms were beautiful spacious, decor was retro but modern with beautiful colours. Definitely recommend this to someone needing peace and quiet just to reflect, unwind and self are 🙌🙌🙌💯💯💯😍😍😍🥰
