We absolutely loved our stay at Frank and Jennifer’s home. We stayed for three days while in town for Thanksgiving. The wing is totally private, but we crossed paths with the owners a couple times when coming and going, and they were delightful but gave us our space. Their home is cozy, well-appointed, and welcoming. Our toddlers loved the big dinosaur, vintage arcade games, and complimentary snacks. Our childless in-laws enjoyed the comfortable, spacious rooms and beautiful property. Communication was clear and easy, the space was updated and pristine, and the location was charming and peaceful. It had everything we needed and more, and we hope to return! Our only regret is that our time was so brief and busy that we left without leaving a hand-written note for the guest book! Many thanks to our lovely hosts.

Second time we stayed here. So cozy and inviting. Beautiful, beautiful time of year as well, with beautiful views. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. I would recommend it for any activities in the Dutchess County area. Lots of stuff fairly close to a 40 minute drive, still within the county! But way better than most of the motels/inns found.

Felt like home from the minute we arrived! Coming from an 1850s home in Virginia, it was very cool to experience another older home that has been well cared for through the years. We appreciated all the history and attention to detail. Our space was well-appointed, and the furniture was very cozy. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. The game room was delightful, and it's been ages since we played an authentic video game! Although our stay was short we felt it was the perfect place to get away and have some privacy while visiting our son at the Culinary Institute of America, which was a very easy drive from this place to Rt 9. And bonus was being able to take in some beautiful fall foliage. Thank you for your hospitality, Frank and Jennifer. Hope to visit again real soon.

Had a peaceful and quiet stay at this lovely home. It was extremely convenient to the venue for the wedding we attended over the week end.

This AirBNB is beautiful. If you love and appreciate historical properties in a unique and tranquil setting this place is for you. The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable. The area is steeped in tradition and history that only the Hudson Valley can tell. The only recommendation I would make if you are considering staying there is this, if you like to fix healthy snacks, it is a challenge. There is no "kitchen" and no dishware outside of coffee cups and packages of plastic forks with napkins and salt and pepper. There is a microwave and refrigerator, the refrigerator has one shelf available for your use only and the balance of the full-size fridge is their personal drinks. I try to fix easy quick salads and other healthy snacks while traveling but in order to do that here I had to go and buy utensils and a knife for cutting. So little to nothing to work with. All of this wouldn't matter if there was somewhere close by to eat but there isn't.
