The whole place could do with a tidy up, walls, bed frames, windows, bathroom, it wasn’t as nice as it looked on the ad. The lounge was good. Bathroom had a terrible smell which hit us once we arrived so blacked the toilet sink and bath which removed the smell. Nails were hanging out of the threshold from hallway to kitchen, but this got resolved whilst we were out at some point. The occupant downstairs blared their music for 2-3 hours every evening, this needs to be stated for anyone looking for a peaceful stay as it won’t happen.

The flat says ground floor but it was on the first floor. Not suitable for disabled or people have reduced mobility. The area had big Asda and farm food (massive frozen food shop), few greasy spoon cafes around. We had no hot water or heating for 2 days, 1 toilet roll for 3 days but it was sorted. The neighbour next door is not very nice, smokes weed on their doorstep which is their business but the smell travels to the flat we staying so wasn’t pleasant as we had our daughter. They played VERY LOUD MUSIC for 5 hours straight on our last day not even good music and our daughter was distressed due to sensory overload. They blocked what looked to be shared parking with their bins to stop us from parking there. During this time, we did not say or do anything to piss them off or anything other than hi. Host said they never had issue with them before but maybe they didn’t like how we looked as they said hi to my partner everytime they seen her but not me or my daughter who are BAME. Qq

Didn’t have hot water for two days , sent out a plumber who was very helpful and manage to sort the issue . Location is fine and the interior itself was very pleasant. Would recommend and would stay again
