This is hands down one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed in. Peaceful, interesting nature around, great weather, away from the noisy bikes and music of the village. It truly is a wonderful place. Maya is a wholesome and welcoming host and is awesome to talk to. I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future if the opportunity presents itself, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful location to reflect and exist amongst nature.

The whole place is designed thoughtfully for necessities and convenience, while intentionally making connections with the nature. It provided a sense of art and zen. I enjoyed laying in the hammock watching the sunset then the whole sky of stars, while hearing the birds chirping and the wind soughing. Maya is very kind, responsive and passionate.

Maya has an amazing place for people looking for peace, quiet and views. The cabin has separate sleeping and living room connected by a roof, all with large windows which makes you feels really close to nature. It is located on the top of a private road so it is not so convenient if you are planing to go to the village often, but we were there for over a week and enjoyed the walks in nature that can be done from the cabin, as well as the one hour hike trough paddocks down to San Pedro. Maya's mountain overlooks the forested valley that extends all the way to the high tips of Podocarpo National Park so one is graced with the ongoing change of light and colors throughout the day. Prepare yourself for incredible sunsets and many rainbows.
