We loved staying here and would definitely do it again. Pros: - Super responsive host - Large house with lots of space - Fully fenced back yard with pet-friendly policy - Great internet connection Cons: - Pricey for the region - Pool wasn't accessible (more below) - Garage locked and unusable by guest - Was a bit dirty (more below) - Mailbox not immediately accessible - Some furniture was cheaply repaired so broke while being used - Hot water takes forever (more below) I can't emphasize enough how helpful the host was -- she responded within the hour to all our requests, and addressed any concerns we had. The place is fabulous, with a great view and lots of space. The internet was great. Lots of huge televisions for the whole family. A true luxe accommodation. The community pool was not accessible to us during our whole 5-week stay. The owner tried desperately to get the community to let us use the pool, but the required access was never granted. To the owner's credit, she let us use a nearby community pool that was fabulous, so no complaints here. The mailbox is locked, so if you need any mail (e.g. we needed a prescription), you'll need to ask the owner to get it for you. She was very fast and accommodating about this, typically giving us our mail within 1-2 days of requesting it. When we arrived, the house was poorly cleaned. There was poop streaked across one toilet seat, and many (and I mean many) of the dishes and utensils were put into the cabinets without having been washed (e.g. recognizable food chunks on many items). No big deal -- we just rewashed all the dishes over multiple dishwasher cycles (because that many were dirty), and cleared the poop ourselves. To the owner's credit, she offered to get the place re-cleaned, but we declined -- truly not a big deal to us. Some chairs in the dining room were poorly repaired, causing my elderly relative to fall suddenly and nearly go through a window. We caught him, though, and everything's fine. The owners said they would replace these chairs, so I doubt this will be a future problem. Hot water takes 4.5 minutes to arrive in the master bath, and around 3 minutes to arrive in the kitchen faucet. Several of the bathrooms have buttons you need to press in order to preheat the water, but the times I've quoted include having pressed these buttons. Not a big deal though -- we got used to starting the shower water around 5 minutes before actually taking a shower. And hey, it's LA, so hot water's not even that important. We had a fabulous time at this place, and would definitely stay again. The owners are incredibly responsive and helpful, and the house is huge. If you love big televisions, you'll love this place. If you like dining al fresco, you'll love the patio and back yard. It's a tremendous stay if money's no object. Five stars - highly recommended!

Large house. Lots of outdoor space plus a lot of places to sit outside. There are a ton of TV's and comfy areas. Very close to Whole Foods and other shopping. All bedrooms are upstairs, so make sure you can climb stairs. Nice place overall.

The house was amazing, super spacious and considering how large Los Angeles is this was pretty central to alot of things. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet and safe place that will accommodate a large group.

We stayed at this house for 4 days. Its a huge house with almost everything you would need for a short stay. Kitchen is fully loaded with ample crockery and cutlery. The backyard and patio are equally great with well maintained lawn and furniture. We had issue with the water heater but Jenny & Robert were very responsive and it was fixed in no time. The check in & check out was also very simple. I would really recommend this place for a big group looking for a relaxed weekend. Cheers!!
