Charming Townhouse, 15 minutes from the Ocean and 4 mins to Camp Lejeune If you like the red, white and blue, The Patriotic Pad is the place for you. Welcome to the Patriotic Pad, a clean cozy townhouse with a cottage feel, 4 minutes away from the main gate of Camp Lejeune. The Pad has two bathrooms, making it the ideal home away from home, for a large family. The convenience and ease that the second bathroom provides is wonderful as it makes it possible to bring your in laws along, or even another family or friends on vacation with you! There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and a couch in the living room that could sleep one more person, sleeping a total of 5 guests. Our place boasts new luxury vinyl floors throughout, and tile kitchen counter tops. As well as being a 4-minute drive away from the main entrance of Camp Lejeune, the Pad is in very close proximity to all the amenities one would need and want. Just 1.1 miles away we have a food lion, many restaurants, hair salons and nail salons, barber shops, subway, a little tavern/bar, a navy federal credit union and more. If you are into dancing and nightclubs we have “Gus’ Country Rock Club”, only 3 miles away, the most popular night club/bar in Midway Park. If you love the beach, we are located just 15 minutes from Swansboro town, an idyllic beach town with more dining, pubs and shops in a walkable area on the waterfront. All the other beautiful beaches in the area known collectively as the crystal coast are all just a hop, skip and a jump away. Emerald Isle is one of our favorite local beaches, about 30 mins away with beach front bars and restaurants. The Patriotic Pad is a 5-minute drive away from Western Blvd which has everything else you may need, such as Walmart, sams club and lots of restaurants to choose. The entire townhouse is cleaned from top to bottom using child safe cleaning products including Mrs. Meyers and Method, ensuring that there is no residue of hazardous or toxic chemicals around, and these products are also able to be used by the guests to keep the common areas clean and safe during your stay. The pillows, beds and couches are also allergen free, and cruelty free, we don’t have any down or feather pillows. We are very attentive hosts and love to be available at all times if you need anything at all. Let us know if you need anything before your upcoming visit. Please understand that we provide a “starter pack” for every stay. As well as fresh clean linens and towels provided, we also provide a few amenities that will get you started, but depending on how long you decide to stay, they most likely will not cover your entire stay, hence the reason that stays are discounted for 1 week and longer stays. Our starter pack is really intended to be convenient for your family so you don’t have to rush out to the store right when you first arrive, however, to equip yourself for your entire stay you will most likely have to provide some of your own products. Your starter pack includes; 1 laundry detergent pod 1 multi surface spray cleaner (travel size) 1 dishwasher pod 1 dishwashing liquid for dishes by the sink (travel size) 2 hotel soaps one for each bathroom 2 shampoo and conditioner bottles, one for each bathroom (travel size) 2 toilet rolls (one for each bathroom) 2 coffee pot packs filter included to make 2 large pots of coffee A handful of creamers for the coffee A handful of low cal sugar for the coffee 2 packets of microwave popcorn There are outdoor surveillance cameras on the property, only outdoor, for the safety of the property in general.
