Really liked this old farmhouse, yet a few things that stood out- it’s on a very busy road and it’s a bit noisy. If you want total quiet, this may not be the best choice. And re: downstairs bedroom, if there’s someone in the next door duplex, there is little privacy …I used the upstairs bedroom and it was much better (if you have multiple guests , it be cool to rent both units that way you get the entire house). note, there’s no bathroom upstairs. The house was charming although it’s old. I appreciate that nostalgia and vintage feel but just know it is not a modern farmhouse, And the furniture’s not designed for total comfort. last, Pat and Fred’s allowing you to use the next-door gardens and pool was amazing. Their home next is stunning . just know, you may be sharing pool with another guest (if anyone’s in the duplex next door), or in my case 1 of the 3 days there, a friend of Pat‘s had a party there while I was using the pool which is fine …just fyi

Pats place rustic and nostalgic. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Pat and Fred are delightful hosts! Sunrises from the East porch are outstanding. This is an older house that has been divided into a duplex. If you need new or modern, this isn’t your place. The pool is lovely and so are the morning walks through the orchard.

Pats place has the feel of a vintage farmhouse so if you’re wanting modern or contemporary feel, this is not your vibe. There is good wi-fi but no TV which we don't miss. It was lovely to have a clawfoot tub to soak in. Took about an hour and 20 minutes to get to the Gorge Amphitheatre from here which is why we paid more than we normally would for Airbnb. Given that issue, price was competitive. It was lovely to swim in the pool and walk up to the property to see the big huge trees. Lovely place. The old growth trees on the main property and the gardens are lovely. Thanks much!
