We stayed at Helen's for about a week and a half through our entire holiday-Christmas and New years- and we must say that Helen's place is fantastic and would definitely book again. It is conveniently located near many local eateries, convenience stores, a laundromat, (which we did use!) and the subway! Everything is clean and she really makes sure you feel right at home. Its cozy and spacious enough; there is even a terrace! You also have your own fridge that you only share if someone else is staying in the other room. It's a big fridge anyway so we had no issues. She has a large bathroom; with a bathtub (Which is really rare to find in most places in this area)! We also loved her cat, Iriwa. He is super cuddly and sweet. We already miss him! Aside from the great accommodation, Helen is a great host. She can speak English and Korean and can suggest to you where to go and how to get there. She also included us during the New Years festivities! She cooked a vegan, traditional New Years lunch and we ate with her friends; which was also a great experience. Helen is vegan and really pushes for a more sustainable lifestyle; if you want to learn more about sustainability or how to go about starting your zero-waste lifestyle journey, you should definitely ask her for some tips! As much as Helen was a very nice person, the state of the flat is maybe more suited for a younger crowd. I had a big issue with neighbours behaviour and had to cut short my stay which was a shame as the flat is very well located.

I highly recommend this Airbnb, Helen is really kind and thoughtful. Helen was available for any question that I had, anytime. You will also like the neighborhood which is quite active; you will be able to find everything you want or need. Mind also that you have bus stop or subway station really near by Helen's place.

Helens place is very close to a Mart and close to several bus stations/a subway station. So traveling around Seoul can be done with ease and no hassle. The apt comes with everything you would need for daily life and is like in the photos. You even get an own fridge (shared occasionally when the other room is also booked). On top of it there is a very cute cat, Iriwa, that likes a lot of hugs. So great for cat lovers, but be mindful that lots of cat hair are going to be around. Helen is a very communicative and open person. She gave her best to provide us with what we needed and had no problems to share her belongings with us. We felt our privacy was respected by her. She knows about a lot of good places to visit and had great tips for our stay. Helens great hospitality and personality made us feel welcome the first second we stepped in and gave us a great experience with booking a room in her apt (we usually try to book whole apts, but were very happy to have taken this room). We can recommend this place to everyone visiting Seoul/Korea to have a hassle free and great experience.
