This house is a jewel in the heart of Westchester forests. You can enjoy the beauty of sunrise and sunsets, birds chirping, and yet, be minutes away from restaurants, supermarkets and commercial centers. Rory, the host, is the best. He was fully accommodating to our requests and changing schedule. He always responded promptly and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

We were in town for a Memorial Service with our two adult children. The house has plenty of space and a lovely fireplace which we took advantage of. Located in Teatown it is quiet, private with a large wraparound deck. While the house is spacious and clean it could use updating in the kitchen - the electric stove did not provide consistent heat and the cooking pans need to be replaced. The bathrooms were not what I would expect either - the lighting in the hall bath was not good and had peeling paint in the skylight. The master bath shower is a tiny cubicle but does have good water pressure. The beds were comfortable but blackout curtains would be appreciated. If the occasion calls we would stay again.

Very beautiful and comfortable home with peaceful surroundings. Lots of amenities, great kitchen, and lovely fireplace! We stayed as a family with 6 adults and one infant, and it worked out well, though I’d be a little nervous to stay here with a toddler, given the steep entrance steps. Unfortunately, the grill wasn’t working so we didn’t get to grill outside, but it’s a nice large deck. Also, we were having issues with locking the front door, but Rory was very responsive. Overall, a great stay!
