Welcome to Cypress Cottage! Located in Garden City Beach, our cozy home, sits right on the inlet and offers beautiful sunsets with a two minute walk to the beach. Close to dozens of golf courses, Marsh Walk, Brookgreen Gardens, surf, Pier and fishing. Everything is here. Located 15 min south of MB away from the hustle of MB, in a family- friendly beach community. Note fireworks are often set off locally. First floor completely renovated in 2023. Our cozy beach place is directly on the marsh- Located in Garden City beach, a few minutes south of Myrtle and slightly north of Murrells Inlet ...this is the best of the beach! Enjoy the air, salt water and sunshine in a quieter, calmer family- oriented beach. The Causeway Grill, the Pier Grill, pizza, Yum Yums and others a few steps away. Located 0.2 miles from the Garden City Pier, fun for everyone within walking distance. If you stayed at Cypress Cottage previously-come check out the improvements! Pier Fishing, Charter fishing, Mini Golf, Huntington Beach Park, Altalaya Castle, Carolina Great Escape, major golf courses, the Arcade, sports bars and gorgeous Brookgreen Gardens are all nearby. The fabulous Marsh Walk at Murrells Inlet offers the best seafood around and is one of our favorite places. Bring your clubs and enjoy the best selection of golf courses anywhere. Cypress Cottage is a traditional, old style beach home. First floor completely refurbished in 2023. It’s comfy and more spacious than you expect, but not high-end glitzy. Our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath room easily accommodates 10 people, can handle 13- with inlet views from nearly every window. There’s an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water to wash off the sand at the end of a perfect beachy day. The fully stocked kitchen comes with all appliances, and a full complement of cookware. A Keurig AND regular Mr. Coffee-style coffee pot are both supplied to brew up your favorite coffee for your morning beach walk. Sliding glass doors lead to a pergola-covered terrace with additional dining space. The deck runs across the length of the house and includes lounge chairs and a charcoal grill. Board games, playing cards and books are offered in the bookcase; feel free to swap a book - maybe you'll find a new author! . The lovely backyard offers a charcoal grill, sunbathing patio and a shaded area under a spreading 100 year old cypress tree. Home has Wifi internet, with Roku streaming devices ( free Roku selections and Disney streaming! ). DVD players are offered in the two upstairs bedrooms. Linens, bath towels, kitchen towels are supplied. Some paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, dish liquid, laundry cubes are provided to get you started. Please note that as our cleaning protocol has been enhanced, so has the standard cleaning fee. We are also providing some beach towels, boogie boards, and an umbrella and chairs so you don't need to rent them on the beach. We just ask that everything comes back home to live so the next guests can enjoy them, too. Beach supplies are located in outside storage locker, located on the right side of the house. The lock combination is supplied in the Welcome Book materials. Woody’s Beach rentals is on the corner for golf cart or additional beach items. ROOM ARRANGEMENTS: FIRST FLOOR:2 bedrooms, which both connect to a shared full bathroom. One bedroom is Queen and the other bedroom has a Queen bed plus a bunk bed setup. TV In each bedroom plus one in living room. These are Smart TV, with Roku attached ( good for free Roku selections ,Netflix and Disney ). Living room, kitchen, dining area for eight, plus round kitchen table seating 4. Small drop leaf table for 4. Front deck, back deck and covered pergola with outdoor seating. The living room sofa is a queen sleeper -the linens are supplied in the dining hutch. Pack n Play, high chair are also stocked on the first floor. SECOND FLOOR: 2 additional bedrooms. One bedroom is very large, with a King bed. The other bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds. These TVs have DVD players attached, with Roku( good for free Roku selections, Netflix and Disney). The second floor full bathroom ( newly remodeled 2021) is accessed from the hallway. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE !!!! We do prefer that our guests be aged 25 or above. Please note that abnormal weather events can cause the occasional higher-than-normal tides. In these instances, this may cause water to crest the street and yard in front of the house. This could affect street parking. Street parking is discouraged and the driveway will accommodate at least three vehicles. In those occasions, there are also other free parking options.
