Honestly, staying with Adnan is the best thing you can do no matter if you come as a couple or solo traveller, short or long term: The flat… is suuuper tidy and clean, full of light, and allowing for a lot of privacy as well as community depending on what you feel like, as there is a living room between Adnan’s room and the guest room. All you need for cooking, cleaning, and doing your laundry is there; technical amenities work flawlessly and the shower is awesome 😎 …Only thing is the current issue with electricity, but that’s out of Adnan’s hands. So if you can live with electricity shortage between 7-8/9am and 3-5:30pm, book this place straight away! About your host: Adnan is a very well-travelled, open minded person with a great sense of humor who is taking Arabic hospitality to the next level. I stayed with Adnan for one month - first alone and later accompanied by a friend. It was the beginning of setting foot in the country for me, and I am beyond grateful for all the insights Adnan provided to my 10000 questions - from legal matters to buying furniture, club recommendations to grocery shopping, from managing the household to perspectives on lebanese society, you name it. Adnan is your go-to for it all. He‘s also super flexible and pragmatic, so anything around logistics or your needs regarding the flat will be solved within a blink of an eye. One thing you should know about Adnan though is that he really cares about the apartment being clean and tidy in the shared spaces - so if you’re a super messy person you might be better off with a different place. If you’re not, then this will be extremely refreshing and pleasant for you in an otherwise sometimes messy country. With all that said: I couldn’t have wished for a greater and safer start on to this new chapter in life! On the surrounding: The flat is located in a small street right next to Monot Street, which has beautiful citrus trees and bustling restaurants - even some nightclubs to offer. With a mini market right below in the same building and a 3-storey supermarket in 14min walking distance, you basically do not need to even ever leave this part of Ashrafiyeh full of beautiful old villas. But: In case you want to do so, lots of cultural and historic attractions await you on a short walk towards downtown, corniche beach or the old harbor. For more food and nightlife options, Mar Mikhael is also only 15mins walking. Pretty much everything else is easily accessible by taxis or - for the more adventurous or local folks: bikes & buses. Adnan is a the most amazing host I have ever had! He went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and smooth. He is very kind and fun to be around. The flat is perfectly located in a very nice area of Beirut, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. It is very clean and well-equipped in everything you need for short or longer stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better host and place. Thank you!

I have stayed with Adnan in his wonderful apartment multiple times. Adnan is the most amazing Airbnb host I ever came across. He knows his way around Beirut and Lebanon and is always happy to provide you with lots of helpful tips and advice. Whenever something needed to be fixed or did not work at the apartment, Adnan always made sure to take care of it immediately. He is also super fun to be around and I couldn’t have wished for a better flatmate nor host during my time in Beirut. The apartment itself is very tidy and organized and fully equipped with everything you need for a short-term or even a longer-term stay. The location of the apartment could not be better. At night the area is usually very quiet, yet the apartment is in walking distance to Downtown, Gemmayzeh and Mar Mikhael - perfect for a drink after work or a night out! Overall, 5/5 recommend! Would definitely visit again!
