We really enjoyed a cosy few family days at this rural feeling but well connected cottage. The property is characterful and well equipped; the additional bonuses of fresh bread and eggs upon arrival were generous and welcoming. The hosts are friendly and attentive ensuring we had everything we needed and making us feel welcome. The proximity to excellent castles, gardens and Ashdown Forest makes this a perfect all year round getaway.

Stayed at Roni’s with my wife and 3 young children over Easter BH weekend and had a very relaxing time. Roni and Martin were very welcoming and showed us around their grounds. Kids loved feeding the chickens! Cottage and garden were exactly what we were after, plenty of space to play. Roni shared some local walks and things to do which made keeping the kids entertained very easy. Will definitely book again in the future. Thanks Roni and Martin!

I can highly recommend Roni's place! The living room was extremely comfortable, with a log burner to keep the chill away. The kitchen was stocked with all you need for home cooking and the location is stunning. For the price you pay, you really can't beat it! The only fault I had with the place is that the beds are quite short for the average male. I still slept comfortably though!

We had a really special stay in this cottage- in no small part because of Roni. Communication was excellent, the fire was ready for us when we arrived and Roni was generous with her time in looking after us. Our young children had a brilliant time in the surrounding area, as well as on our day trip to Hever Castle (10 minutes away). The cottage was perfect- as described and in beautiful surroundings. Thank you to Roni and Martin for making us feel so welcome.
