Like the traditional Greek dish, our Guesthouse TOURLOO combines different but tasty ingredients. A comfortable place that blends modern interior design & traditional features. Located in the picturesque and trendy neighbourhood “Panagia”, in the Old Town of Kavala, on a 5min walk from the “rocky beach”, the city centre and the most popular attractions. TOURLOO is the ideal starting point for all your explorations. Attractions, shopping, taverns, bars and sea at your doorstep. Pet friendly! TOURLOO Guesthouse is located in the Old Town of Panagia and at the same in the heart of the city. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the central square and a supermarket and three minutes from a bus and taxi station. The house is 3 minutes walking distance from one of the “rocky beaches” where locals and residents of Panagia swim on a daily basis. Although it is so central, is very quiet because it's located in a small, narrow, quiet street with no traffic. It is an old house partially renovated. The interior décor has been poetically conceived as a subtle play of subdued patterns and soft colours. TOURLOO is a ground floor 80m2 guesthouse that also provides a spacious yard overlooking the Aegean Sea. When indoors, you barely notice living in the city centre. The view from the front windows gives you the sensation of cruising on a boat… • TOURLOO sleeps up to four people across 2 rooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with anatomic mattress & pillows. The other room has one double sofa bed, an armchair, a big laptop friendly walnut workspace and a bookcase. • There is also an elegant living room area with two sofas, a big flat screen 4K 49΄΄ Smart TV (Netflix infused) and a coffee table. The living room also has a large window providing garden view, welcoming lots of natural light during the day. • Entering TOURLOO you will also find a serene “atrium”, an ideal space where you can have your breakfast, lunch or dinner and at the same time enjoy the magnificent sea view. • In the big hallway leading to the back of the house there is a comfy three-seater sofa where you can grab and enjoy a book or a magazine (Monocle, Wallpaper, Harvard Design, Vogue etc) from the shelves of the TOURLOO “Library” or take a short nap. • The kitchen comes complete with a fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, kettler boiler, Nespresso Coffee Machine (capsules provided), tea kettle and toaster. • The TOURLOO bathroom may be small but it has a “weird” arrangement that fits a bathtub. Aside from fresh towels, toilet paper and a hairdryer, we also provide shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel, all from the most established Greek cosmetics brands (Korres, APIVITA etc.). • Last but not least, TOURLOO offers a large yard with blossoming flowers all over, surrounding the guesthouse. It is equipped with a large dining table that sits six with a big umbrella to keep you cool during the day, a smaller one great for two to enjoy a cup of coffee, and a storage box. It is an ideal place for sun tanning in the morning, lunch at noon, coffee or tea in the afternoon and dinner on breezy summer nights. The perfect location allows guests to fully enjoy sweeping views of Kavala’s skyline and the serenity of the blue sea while lounging and dining. TV, 3 Fans, Netflix and wi-fi are also available. Although parking is not guaranteed by our Guesthouse, there are many parking spaces around the area and you will be most likely able to find one for you (a rare “find” for an Old Town home!). Pets are more than welcome!
