This is a very nice modern suite at an excellent price. The furnishings and appliances are newer. Detail to cleanliness and repair need to be addressed. The light over the bathroom sink didn't work, the toilet seat was loose, the floors needed a good wash (white socks became black in no time), organic garbage was left in a bin and was moldy. A token amount of toilet paper and paper towel are provided, so you're expected to bring your own. No coffee filters provided for the coffee maker. This is literally just renting a furnished apartment with linens and kitchen ware. Communications were slow although they were very nice.

This was hard to review. The condo itself and the location is 5 stars. You are in downtown Dartmouth close to everything. The price was also very reasonable. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because my experience there was terrible. There is a new condo being built right in front and it is incredibly loud. They were breaking ground on it and it's literally like a jackhammer to your head. It starts at 7 am. We even got a fan for the bedroom to try and block out the noise. We could not use the patio at all with the beautiful views between 7 and 4:30 or open the doors and windows. Even with everything closed it was excruciatingly loud. I started asking the host about the noise and what it was and when it would end. I didn't get a response for a week until we couldn't take it anymore and decided to move out, then they finally told me about the new condos going up. They would not give me a refund except to honor the cancellation policy for my unused nights. I sent videos of the noise and explained why I thought I should get a full refund for my unused nights. I didn't ask for a discount on the nights I stayed. They refused and I had to spend a week in a dispute with Airbnb and PayPal. I did get my refund finally but it was stressful and tiring. Their response was that the owners of the condos had to deal with the construction and that there's construction all over the city. I'm on vacation!!! The owners have known for a year about the construction so I feel the host should have disclosed this in the listing. It will be going on for a long time as 3 new condo buildings are going up in front of this listing. It would work great if you don't plan on spending much time during the day there. It did not work for us.
