A very enjoyable and relaxing stay on the less-visited east coast. Such a good choice to start here. Bathsheba has a nice feel and several eating places. The Atlantis has a charming and relaxed environment. Thoroughly recommended

Great Job to Ophia, Patricia, Antonio, Hacky and all the gang! What an incredible place and incredible people we truly loved them all! Atlantis is absolutely magical! The people treat you like family! Can’t wait to return!

Ceiling fan and fridge in the room are rusted and overly dirty. Mosquito Net over the bed in the room is super dirty and dingy. It’s never changed nor washed. I have pictures. Wi-Fi is probably the worst on the island. There were ants everywhere in the tables in the room. Cockroaches as well in the building. They also instructed the taxi driver that takes us around to stop coming since according to them guests are supposed to book taxi from the hotel. Guess what? When they book taxi for you they add their own money. You end up paying way more. They also tried to help us rent a car for $1,500+ usd for 2 weeks. We later found out we can rent cars for $300 usd a week. I had to stay a whole day without taking a shower because the bathroom wasn’t draining. I complained to the house keeper in the morning. They kept saying someone was coming to fix it but no one showed up. I complained to the manager later in the evening. He told me that the plumber will be coming in the next day. I advised he needs to send someone to at least clean up the bathroom so I can take shower but he told me there was no one at the hotel that can clean the bathroom. I had to sleep without taking a shower with bathroom filled up with water. The entire room smelled so bad until the plumber came the next day. They also charged us for 8 nights that we didn’t stay at the hotel though we gave them a 24hr notice about our change of stay. We’re disputing that with Airbnb of course. Overall I won’t recommend this place for my worst enemy.
