I stayed with Mona for 4 months and I absolutely loved staying with her. She is a very kind lady who makes you feel like home, always make sure that you feel okay. Much privacy with your own room and bathroom in the hall. You’ve got pool and jacuzzi to use whenever you like. Laundry room inside the complex area. It’s safe with gates surrounding the complex. Big blue bus 8 to SMC (20min) or CC6 to UCLA (20min) right outside the complex. Hence traffic in LA, busy hours it’s double the transport time. Bus Nr 8 also takes you to the beach/Santa Monica center in 30-40min. Vons and CVS is 2 min walking. You can walk to the next door neighbourhood west side village which is a lovely walking safe area with lots of beautiful houses to see, and it’s perfect for running. The location is perfect if you like to explore Hollywood, it’s 20-30 min with car and lyft costs around $20. I’d recommend anyone coming to visit LA for the first time staying with Mona for a safe and welcoming experience.

Mona has been an amazing host. She was very helpful and responsive all the time. She is also very warm and welcoming. Her home was very well located - the bus stop to UCLA, Santa Monica, etc is just infront of the house. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Mona’s house is always clean and tidy. I will definitely be back! Thanks for having me Mona and I hope to meet again soon!

Da dove cominciare…parto dal ringraziare Mona, che ormai è diventata la mia mamma americana, per tutta la gentilezza, l’affetto e il sostegno che mi ha sempre dato in questo mese. Ho conosciuto poche persone al mondo che hanno un cuore grande come il suo. Per me è stato un onore conoscerla e conoscere tutta la sua splendida famiglia. Mi sono sentita come se fossi a casa mia e con la mia famiglia. Mona mi ha fatto sempre sentire parte della casa e non un ospite. Abbiamo condiviso storie, cene, ricette e birre. Spesso sono tornata stanca dalle lezione e lei mi ha fatto trovare qualcosa da mangiare. Mona mi ha aiutato fin dal primo giorno in ogni modo possibile, è stata flessibile con il check in e check out e mi ha aiutato con le valigie. La casa è sempre stata pulita e ci sono piccoli tocchi nella camera e nel bagno che mostrano la sua attenzione anche nei più piccoli dettagli. Il condominio di Mona è perfetto per rilassarsi, c’è la piscina e tantissimi fiori. La casa di Mona è silenziosa e fresca. Vorrei dire ancora tante cose su Mona e su quanto è splendida ma in conclusione vorrei dire che non vi pentirete di scegliere la sua stanza. Mi manchi già! Love you❤️
