My wife and I traveled to Arno’s place for a full week and everything was better than expected. Arno is an excellent host who has thoroughly thought through every detail of his property. He was very responsive, had tons of knowledge of the island, and even offered services of his own to help create an unforgettable vacation. We asked Arno for the Chicken Roti meal upon our arrival because we did not want to cook after a long day of traveling and the meal was awesome. We also went for a snorkeling/fishing trip with Arno and it was an absolute blast. I would recommend to everyone. The open air concept of the house and lush vegetation on the property are amazing. Truly makes you feel like you are in a tropical oasis. We enjoyed the extremely short distance to Long Bay beach and were obsessed with Mamas Pasta. Have to try the Rum Punch, best around. Closest grocery spot is about 20-30 min away so plan ahead. The house cat Puss Puss became our best friend and was the cherry on top!

Arno’s place was so perfect for our stay! Very safe, secluded, and quiet cottage on the water with a gorgeous view, a gracious host and an adorable little cat. We are two girls in our early 20’s and Arno made us feel safe and comfortable. Could not recommend more!! Thank you so much!

Arno has created something very special: the house is perfectly positioned and he has thought of everything. The interior of the house, outdoor bathroom and the outdoor spaces are beautifully designed and provided everything we needed. We took the kayaks out most days, went snorkelling, relaxed in the hammocks, found a deserted beach and sunbathed on the jetty. We walked to Long Bay for lunches and yet more swimming and snorkelling. Arno recommended places to visit and shop. We self catered breakfasts and suppers (great BBQ), wanting to savour the peace and quiet We opted for a sunset cruise with Arno: it was such fun and his knowledge of the local waters was amazing. The snorkelling from the boat was just breath taking. If we could give 10/5 stars, we would!!

It’s rare to be welcomed into a space that has as much thought and intention in terms of design, privacy, and functionality. Situated in a lush manicured garden leading to the mangroves sprouting from the turquoise emerald bay, be prepared to be a little speechless as even the pictures don’t do it justice. Mosquitos and heat were absolutely not an issue do the prevailing trade winds creating a constant cooling breeze. The wifi was strong and allowed us to watch a movie on the edge of the dock underneath the stars. From the quality of the towels to the king sized bed to the fully serviced kitchen, everything has been thought of. We especially loved the outdoor shower and hammocks on the deck. Attentive yet completely respectful of our privacy, we also felt completely welcomed as a queer couple visiting from London. If you’re looking for unique, private, memorable retreat: the antithesis to a cookie cutter soulless resort, this is the place. Highly recommend one of Arno’s excursions to!

We loved our stay at the Blue Pearl. Arno was a great host, very helpful and always responsive. We would definitely book again - such a unique stay and location. We had an awesome time!
