Listing tag says lake access, which puts it in waterfront search results. Property does not have lake access. Lake is only visible across the road in between 2 neighbors and there is no point of access anywhere. Lake access was a critical amenity for me when I was searching. One must dig deep in the listing description to see the owners comments saying there is no lake access. So they know and are false advertising to show up in waterfront search results. Furthermore, the lake is more of a retaining pond. This property does not access the lake so the waterfront tag should be removed. Additionally, the house rules on the listing say nothing about the guest being responsible for cleaning. We are charged a cleaning fee, then during our stay, get several emails from the owner asking us to take out our own trash, but this condition was not disclosed in the listings house rules. I think if advertised accurately, this would have gotten 4-5 stars from me, had it been what I was looking for.

The castle was clean,quiet,and very peaceful. sunsets were amazing across the lake. The hosts were wonderful, and the place was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds are super soft and the towels are like a five star hotel. Furnished so well,that you forget that you are not at home. Wonderful place and would highly recommend.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!

The Castle was exactly as pictured and described! The accommodations were perfect for three couples and our two good sized dogs😀We were very comfortable and there was a lot of room to gather between the kitchen and living rooms. We enjoyed s’mores around the fire. It is a beautiful relaxing setting! We also enjoyed several eateries recommended by the hosts. We found it convenient to get to Meadville, Saegertown, Edinboro, and Erie-all places we visited. Amy and Robin did a wonderful job making this rental home feel like home😀
