Rita met us when we arrived and showed us to our room. We sayed overnight on a Sunday evening so everyone was very quiet and although the restaurant was closed a platter of food was offered. The timing of breakfast was a little confusing as we were ready to move on earlier than the 9.30am time for the cooked breakfast. Rita assured us that she was open to an earlier time if we had requested it the evening before. She served us the most delicious bowl of fruit and yoghurt with a cup of tea/coffee and orange juice. Toast was also offered. We did not have time to sample the free wine tasting or eat in the restaurant but enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep and watched hot air balloons raising in the morning air from our bedroom window.

We stayed at Rita’s for one night to celebrate our 20th anniversary. we stayed in the library room which was lovely - bed very comfortable and clean. It’s peaceful and quiet. Rita is friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was very special and memorable - overall we loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Rita and Leon’s Residence at Tokar Estate was a true ‘Tuscan’ experience. Our room was superbly decorated with magnificent views over the gardens and vines. The highlight were Rita’s breakfasts which were a joy to eat. We look forward to returning in the future and will definitely try the restaurant on the estate.

It is wonderful stay right in the vineyard! Room is neat, clean & beautiful. Vineyards itself is peaceful place with great food & amazing wine (of course!). Rita is a very helpful host. We will come back again.

Absolutely stunning location and property! Rita and her husband Leon are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much, they even made my 2 year old pancakes for breakfast! Rita is an extraordinary cook, everything was truly delicious. Our room was much bigger than expected, and had everything we could need. We had lunch at the restaurant which was also delicious! All in all a really lovely stay, and we hope to come again soon.
