Well Miss Vicki did it again. This was my second stay at this beautiful, peaceful and very private cabin. This cabin is the real deal. It and the surroundings will welcome and cause you to enter into a good rest. If you are looking for quiet this is the place. Things to do outside of the beautiful property is around a 30 minute drive in any direction. There is much to take in and great local places to eat and shop if you do want to get out. Miss Vicki is one the kindest people you will meet and so helpful. As I stated, this was my second month long stay and I’m already looking forward to the third time being more of a charm. Book this, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful cabin. Excellent and peaceful location. Very responsive host. The cabin was exactly as described. House was very clean. Had all the amenities of being at home. Did not have any issues at all. Felt like being in the forest. Instructions were very thorough. I would not hesitate to book this location in the future.

The cabin was perfect. SUPER clean and updated. Wonderful remote location, but within a short 10 minute drive of the local town and (very well stocked) IGA grocery store. Red River Gorge was a straightforward but longer drive directly south. The land around the cabin afforded some AMAZING countryside for hikes - full of streams, waterfalls, cliffs, and ravines. Vicki was an amazing host and responded almost immediately to any questions. It felt like a good friend had lent us the place for the week. Before a large thunderstorm rolled in she made sure we had flashlights and (more importantly)to know where to shelter in the basement if needed. When the kids had questions about the local area she directed us to her friend who had all kinds of amazing stories and history of the area. Cell service (as she clearly stated in listing) is not super great (your carrier may vary) but wifi was perfect. : ) Great place to escape to and watch the grass grow and the stars spin across the sky.
