I stayed with my two young daughters whilst we visited family. The cabin is easy to find, comfortable, warm and quiet at night. It had all we needed for the stay including cosy fleece blankets and extra pillows. The quirky extras made us smile. Parking is with the cabin and you can also park on the road. Kitchen is well equipped and we were provided with washing up liquid, toilet roll, handwashing and towels. Location is great. Not far from the motorway and easy to get to Manchester and surrounding towns. Overall was a great base and we felt at home. Would definitely recommend.

Very warm cute cottage. David communicated well. Not too far from a great shopping centre. Lacks a hairdryer and soap.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lodge (The Gin Shack) fantastic, quirky little place. Lovely welcome from David. Nice, friendly host. We will definitely book again :-)
