We had a wonderful day. I will definitely be back again, in, house was clean and comfortable. A couple things I forgot and no problem Leah had them great touch for a nice weekend get away

Leah carries very much about her guests. The home was welcoming and comfortable. The homie touches inside were very much appreciated. Unfortunately, we were disappointed when we pulled into a trailer park, with an abandoned trailer next door, especially given what we were paying for what we thought was a beach or lake house. The home is directly across from a railroad crossing, and the train horns starting at 3:30 am was definitely a non-starter for a light sleeper like me. The lessons I learned from this experience were 1) use the internet to check out an area. and 2) be sure that you are aware of the total, including all fees charged by Airbnb before you make a final decision.

Our Girl Scout troop was tent camping at Lake McConaughy for a long weekend. Our camp was blown away by a nasty wind storm and we were unable to salvage the trip due to the damage. I lucked out to find this air bnb! The owner responded promptly and gave us a warning the AC may take a while to get down to a decent temp ( she checked in on us throughout the evening to ensure the temp was ok and it was perfect the rest of our trip). We went to a local ice cream shop after tearing down camp to boost moral and wait for the AC to kick in. All of our girls were beyond excited to stay in this home. There were plenty of towels and room to sleep. The master bed has a great mattress and I slept wonderful after a rough day. They even have a firepit and chairs to enjoy an evening fire. The kitchen was well stocked and had many misc items. The owner was wonderful throughout the trip and gave us a discount due to our tough circumstances. The girl scouts were very low on funds and this helped so much. To say the least our trip was saved!! You helped make a very happy group of little girls. We were only a short drive from the lake and were still able to make our boat trip. THANK YOU!!!!! Troop 68282
