We really enjoy the time on this property........ it one of fewer that has its own pool and next to the beach, the area and view is espectacular, and there is a restaurant next door with great food, service and quality, no expensive at all..... great communication with Alejandro before our arrival, very well attended during our stay and on the check out

Booked 8 days but only stayed for 3. I am trying to give a fair review as much as possible. The location of this unit is awesome (Beachfront) but the location and unit comes with challenges you should consider before booking. PROS: - Location of Punta Esmeralda (a little north of Bucerias) offers beautiful views and was very safe. - Directly next door to the unit was a restaurant with great food and provided room service to the unit. -Wifi in the unit was good which allowed for streaming on smart tvs. -# of bathrooms in the unit was great (1 for each bedroom); - cooking supplies, basic toiletries were all provided. CONS: - Cleanliness: dusty ceiling fans in the unit; make-up stains on pillows, living room furniture seemed worn and old. - Up-Keep: the outside of unit (the sliding doors leading to patio/pool) were worn and chipping away in many spots. Multiple lightbulbs out throughout unit. - AC in Living Room: there are AC units in the bedrooms and one directly over the kitchen....but none in main living room. The one over the kitchen does not help with heat in main living room so prepared to be hot at all times in there while watching TV. Ceiling fans help but not that much. - INSECTS & Geckos!!: The sliding doors (in the unit) that lead to the outside have visible gaps from the floor to ceiling which allowed geckos, waterbugs (large roaches) and other insects to get into the unit. If you are a lover of insects and don't mind sharing your space with these critters...you won't have a problem. If you have kids that don't like sharing their living space with bugs/geckos...this will be a stressful stay! While we do understand that this is a tropical environment.....the unit could be more secure to not allow so much to get in. Mosquitos - there is a very large potted landscaped plant right outside the front door of this unit that contains a mosquito nest. Every time we opened the front door mosquitos got into the unit. My family was bitten every night we slept and woke up with multiple bites. The only explanation/help we got from the host was, "well it is the rainy season". -Iguanas: this unit (being at the lowest level - beachfront) had a lot of iguana activity. The picture you see of the hot tub right off the master bedroom...well there is a large female iguana living under that hot tub that may prevent you from wanting to use it. My family were all relaxing in the private pool outside the unit one day and all of a sudden multiple iguana's started surrounding the area (around pool, on the roof, on steps of the pool) and started checking us out. This kinda freaked the kids out and they wanted out of the pool and chose to go to the community pool instead. -Master Bedroom sliding door lock was broken so we had to prop a broom handle to keep the door secure. Host said he sent maintenance but we were gone when he showed up so door was not fixed. -Elevator - this property has an elevator that is like an outdoor mine-shaft/bucket type elevator which is very slow. If you have lots of bags/luggage you will need to be patient with the elevator system. God help you if that thing every stops working because it is about 6-7 flights up stairs. -Location: Bucerias is quiet and small town but anytime we wanted to go to PV...the taxi expense was higher because of the distance. We checked out after 3 stressful days and the host would not offer us any refund and AirBNB said that our complaints did not warrant a refund either. So Beware.

La playa está hermosa, muy limpia y tranquila. La terraza y alberca del departamento muy agradable y hay un restaurante a unos cuantos pasos con servicio al depa.

De las mejores rentas de mi vida. La ubicación, el espacio, todo... me urge regresar. Alejandro y Mayra fueron de gran ayuda. No batallamos con nada.
