Julie was very helpful and responsive. The apartment was very quiet except on occasion when the dog barked which was not an unknown concern. The parking availability was variable at times as no guaranteed on-site parking. Close to the highway and other nearby shopping. Overall, a pleasant living experience.

I enjoyed my stay overall. I stayed here for about a year during an internship experience so my review comes from my experience during an extended stay. I thought that this was a good find for the price point of a little under $1100 a month. As with any experience, there are pros and cons. I'll list a few that may be helpful for others. Pros: Although there isn't very much to do in Parkville, this Airbnb is only about 10/15 mins from amazing shopping locations in Towson and about 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore. I also felt very safe after getting familiar with the area. I'd heard so many bad things about safety issues in Baltimore but that was not my experience. The apartment is small but big enough for one person. Julie was very responsive and quick to offer a suggestion for problems/inconveniences that arose. The kitchen was pretty well-equipped with all of the tools needed. I was VERY pleased that there weren't any bug issues. I hate bugs and found that there were few bugs in the apartment until the AC units were put in. Cons: Another person mentioned that Julie's dog barks pretty regularly and I would agree. There was central AC when I first moved in but the AC stopped working and the apartment was then kept cool with window units which were a bit loud and did not cool the entire apartment. There's also a min/max to what the heat and AC could be put on and Julie monitors it and adjusts it from an app on her phone. If you're someone who's usually really cold or really hot this may be an issue. It's an older unit so there was also the occasional brown water from the faucets and the smell of chlorine. There were also a few days when the water ran cold. The sofa is old with stains that are covered by a smaller-sized sofa cover. Also, there are no curtains/blinds in the living room. This is a little bit of a privacy issue but I didn't mind it as much because the apartment is on the 2nd floor and I invested in some window film. Lastly, I didn't think that the "no overnight guest" rule would be an issue, but for the length of my stay, it was. I would keep that in mind if you plan to be here for a long time. Overall, I would recommend this apartment with all of the things previously mentioned and taken into consideration. I think that this was a good find and am grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here.
