The place is grubby and many of the fixtures and fitting need a good clean. The house is in a very noisy area and this was exacerbated by the incredibly noisy fans in the bedrooms - as stated they are the only option for cooling in a hot night. Our stay felt very expensive for what it was - and for what was included (no coffee for example and one small towel per person).

Really loved this spot! Super central location and the place has been designed/decorated really nicely. The kitchen/living area is spacious and we loved the multiple balconies. Bedrooms are also a decent size. Check-in and check out were so easy and Cathy and Ween let us check in early once we landed in Sydney. Entrance into the property is so convenient too as you don’t need to worry about keeping a key safe or sharing it amongst people. There’s only some minor things that we didn’t like, such as the shower on the top floor making the bathroom really wet as there’s just one small mat and no door (this bathroom is also very small), no air conditioner (which is clearly listed however it does get a bit too warm on a hot day even with the fans running), and the steps are different heights so you really need to focus on where you’re going up and down to avoid a fall (nearly had a few big ones).

Extremely hospitable host, with flexible check in/check out. Apartment was exactly as described and easy to access. Good living space, a home from home, as stated on the listing. The apartment had everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Particularly noisy in the area during our stay but this is no fault of the host! All round a positive experience and great hosts! Thank you for having us!!

This is a wonderful place to stay, except that we didn't have any wi-fi for the duration of the stay. The location is perfect - close to restaurants and the Red Fern train station. All other amenities were great. No A/C, but all the ceiling fans were good.

A lovely house in a great location, very near the Redfern metro train station which is one stop away from Central. The house is very close to the great cafes, bars and restaurants of Redfern. I'd wholly recommend this house as a perfect base to explore Sydney.
