Dom and canal view This room is for rent in our romantic house from 1880, situated in centre Utrecht along the Singel, the canal surrounding the mediaeval city. The house is situated very near the centre of Utrecht within walking distance of the historic heart of Utrecht (5 minutes): many restaurants and two super markets in the Voorstraat, Neude and Janskerkhof busstop to Central Station and Science Park), the Stadsschouwburg (Theatre), Vredenburg/Tivoli concert halls, many locations of the Festival Oude Muziek and of the Nederlands Filmfestival, the Flowermarket and the “lapjesmarkt” (Saturdays only), Museum Van Speelklok tot Pierement, the shops around de Oude Gracht, and the main railway station. This room is on the top floor (3rd floor, three steep flights to go). It overlooks the canal and the 19th century houses across the canal. Although the house is situated very close to the centre of Utrecht, the neighbourhood has a quiet, green and cosy atmosphere. A large municipal parking garage is on a 3 minute walking distance.. Guests are allowed to use the well equipped kitchen on the first floor under the condition that they leave it as clean as they find it. They may also use the washing machine once a week. The whole house is cleaned and disinfected according to the guidelines of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) as suggested on the airbnb website. There are always at least 30 hours between the departure of a guest and the arrival of a new guest. This room is together with the other two rooms on this floor especially suitable for persons who do not want to share a room, but who can share bathroom, toilet, terrace and coffee and tea facilities.
