I am driving from Alaska to Oregon for a move with my two dogs. initially, I only booked one night but decided to stay a second night so I could spend Christmas Eve there instead of some hotel we basically had the property to ourselves. I love the wood-burning stove. I had everything that I needed there and the weather was warm enough that I was able to completely unpack my car and got get it packed so that we were all more comfortable. I feel like I was especially able to do that because I was more of a private property rather than in some hotel parking lot was very memorable way for us to leave Alaska. Jeanila super responsive and kind and I appreciate all her communications with me. The property is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable the first night I slept. There was quite best night sleep I’ve had in months. Pretty sure my dogs were disappointed when they realized I was repacking the car and that this was not our new permanent home

it's great! we were unable to make it to our original destination and stopped here for the night. Jeanila was very accommodating and though it was a dry cabin and took us a second to warm it up with the fire, we slept great before getting back on the road

Great communication, very patient and helpful, even after hours. We booked at around 11pm to arrive a couple hours later, and she kindly explained how to get to the cabin, how to do the self check-in, etc. We had an amazing rest on the comfy bed after a long day driving. Definitely recommend! Thank you Jeanila!

I would highly recommend this place. The cabin is very large, and even though it’s one large room, it feels like three spaces; a sleeping area, a kitchen and a living room. It is so well insulated that there is a chance you might be too hot with the wood-burning potbelly stove. Which I figure is a good problem, since you can always open a window. The kitchen has a toaster, a two burner cooktop, a microwave, a fridge and a kettle. And many utensils and crockery. More than enough items to feel like you can cook whatever you want. There is electricity, so lots of light. And since I brought my dog, I should comment on the dog that lives on the property. Luna is very friendly, and it feels like she is an ambassador for the place. My dog fell in love with her instantly. I really liked that I could let my dog out for a pee and not worry that he would end up on the highway. If Luna was also out, they would have a fun doggy playdate. I joked to the host that the only thing missing was a composting toilet inside the cabin. But really, the outhouse is very close, and so well done up I felt like I could sit in there and read a magazine for a while. I confess I took a photo of “the view outside” while inside the outhouse. And then put it on social media. The last thing to mention is actually the reason I stayed here. I wanted to explore Kluane National Park. 15 minutes of driving brings you to the edge of the park, and I did two amazing hikes while here; the Sheep Creek Trail, and the Auriol Trail. I also hit a couple of the smaller hikes - the Rock Glacier Trail and the Spruce Beetle Trail. I so wish I had a couple of more days to hike. Thiis truly is a beautiful area of the world that God has created for us to enjoy.

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay with my 2 pups in Jeanila's cabin. She provided detailed arrival instructions and excellent pre-trip communications. We were arriving later than expected, and she had the woodfire burning upon arrival. Great location to enjoy the Yukon, and Kluane National Park is close by as described! My pups also really enjoyed being able to run and play on the property and with Jeanila's pup. Thanks for the excellent hospitality and relaxing stay!
