Villa Dharuna situated in best location possible, right in the midst of the most premier addresses in Ubud. Within walking distance are abundance of iconic Balinese restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, countless local shops and beautiful local Balinese temples. Below are some of our personal choices of places and things to do to complete your experience in Ubud:
• Yoga Barn
5 minutes walking distance from our villa. The famous Yoga Retreat offers over 130 classes a week in yoga, meditation, dance, healing, health and wellness sessions, Ayurvedic Spa treatments and more. The studios are famously known for their tropical environment which cultivate an ‘in nature’ connection, an aspect and feeling that is celebrated and unique to the Yoga Barn experience.
• Ubud Market
Also known as Pasar Seni Ubud is a traditional market that is located in the heart of Ubud, opposite of the Puri Saren Royal Ubud, and only 10 minutes walking distabce from our villa. Pasar Seni offers many attractive souvenirs made by local Balinese such as handmade bags, statues, kites, silk scarves, and many other handcraft goods.
• Monkey Forest
Ubud Monkey Forest known as the sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal, is one of Ubud's most popular attractions; a natural forest sanctuary that is home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques. The forest is conveniently positioned near Ubud Town Centre, and within 10 minutes of easy walking distance from our villa.
• Saraswati Temple
A temple dedicated to Goddess sarasvati is Pura Taman Saraswati. This temple, notable for its lotus pond and water garden, also known as the Ubud Water palace. Build in 1951, Pura Taman Saraswati is one of the most popular landmarks of Ubud. Located 10 minutes walking distance from our villa.
• Arma Museum
Arma or Agung Rai Museum of Art is located 10 minutes from our villa, offers you a collection of Miguel Covarrubias, Rudolf Bonnet and Raden Saleh's work of art. Also learn how to make traditional Balinese offerings and see the local kids learn Balinese dance are some of activites that could not be missed.
• Sayuri
While in Ubud, nourish your body, mind and spirit. Sayuri is a café which offers you abundant of healthy foods and drinks, fresh made from our mother earth. Sayuri, located five minutes walking distance from our villa.
• Bebek Bengil
Taste an ultimate and famous Balinese crispy duck at Bebek Bengil Restaurant. It’s the pioneer in the industry who introduced the famous Original Crispy Duck in 1990. The restaurant served Balinese, Asian as well as Western cuisine. Bebek Bengil located 10 minutes walking distance.
• Cerita Manisan
Cerita Manisan, which means sweet story, is a restaurant set within a distinctive Javanese joglo that oozes character and old-world charm, specialises in memorable dining experiences accentuated by the diversity of authentic Indonesian cuisine. Cerita Manisan located 10 minutes from our villa.

As the villa located in the center of Ubud. A lot of area could be reach by walking distance, such as Monkey Forest (10 minutes), Ubud Palace and Market (15 minutes), Yoga Barn (5 minutes), and some restaurants such as Bebek Bengil or Pison Cafe (10 minutes).
If guest prefered to go by car, as we cooperate with Ubud local driver, we could arrange transportation by additional cost.
We also provide free parking area on the site.
