20min (1 mile) walk to bus/train station, not good location if you don’t have your own car. No check in instructions and unresponsive host entire stay. No private entrance, host watched TV in “private” area. No key to get back in every night, had to ring doorbell every day to get back in. Ant swarm in bath tub eating a dead fly, no soap in shower, and noisy dogs whining every night. Music and loud talking early mornings.

I came from central Australia to Beerwah for a wedding. The house was in a perfect location. Both helen and her partner were very helpful. Would definitely recommend:)

I stayed at Helen's place for a couple of days whilst I did placement at the nearby Australia Zoo. The room is within the house but had sufficient privacy and its own toilet/bathroom. Helen and Michael were the most friendly and welcoming hosts - I felt comfortable and looked after. They dropped me off to the train station and I even was able to hire a bike from them for a small fee for the duration of my stay as a way to get around. I definitely would stay here again if I were in the area. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay with Helen. Although part of the host’s property, you have your own private space in the form of a lounge, bathroom and two bedrooms. Particularly appreciated the Netflix access on the tv - a welcome tonic after a day’s travelling!
