We had a great stay in Douglas. Amazing view from the windows, and not too far away from the main promenade (About 30m walk to get to the high street). The kids loved the fairy glen at the back of the property too. The only negative is you need to pay very close attention to kids when crossing the road, it's next to a bend & there's no footpath on the same side as the property

Santa Rosa had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels and bed linen. Hot water and heating always available. The view from the lounge, 2 of the bedrooms and the landing was fantastic. The Wi-Fi could have been better as it went off a few times. We arrived lateish and were very grateful for the provisions left for us, butter, loaf, milk etc. Our check out time was 10 0’clock but our plane home wasn’t until 7 p.m and there was no provision for storing our luggage which was very awkward.

On the one hand the location was great, see views and lovely view of the bay, but in the same way the location was a key problem in the respect that access over the main road was tricky to say the least. I would not advise the elderly or those with your children to stop here. The accommodation was well equipped (wifi, washing machine, two toilets etc) all of which worked, but the shower room, was damp and not very clear at all. There were only two of us stopping (and you could get five people in) hence it was not great value for us, but with a good clear in the show room it would make a good location for those who are confident to access the property over the busy road.
