The location of the cottage is fantastic for visiting downtown Wilmington. The kitchen and living room were spacious and inviting. There were giant TVs in each room. The outdoor fire pit was cozy once we asked for the propane to be refilled. The kitchen had great coffee cups and a coffee maker but was lacking sharp knives and, more importantly (during our Thanksgiving visit) a functioning dishwasher. Since the cottage is attached to a hotel, there was access to the hotel breakfast and front desk help. The cottage phone was connected to the internet with a handy dandy front desk button, but there wasn’t a phone number listed in the cottage for what to do when the internet went down, which it did. The upstairs bathroom door isn’t the best for privacy for your sleeping partner for middle-of-the-night potty breaks. Bring your sleeping mask!

It’s called a cottage, but it’s actually an entire house! Very roomy and comfortable with everything you need and more. The jacuzzi tub was greatly appreciated after our long drive. We were warmly welcomed and felt instantly right at home. We would definitely recommend.

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding and it was SO wonderful! Very walkable to many downtown Wilmington restaurants and back enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the River front. The cottage is exceptionally clean and the entire place was so beautiful!
