The overall stay was great - a quaint place, with lots of history. It felt like staying at your grandparents’ house when you were a kid! It has tons more character than a hotel room. Very comfortable bed. The Euro style dryer (a washer/dryer in one machine) takes a very long time to dry laundry. A separate gas or electric dryer would be a good addition. Thank you to Justin and Alina for hosting us!

This place is a real gem, especially if you're a fan of living history. The surroundings put you right back into a time of quiet self-sufficiency. If you're lucky enough to secure a stay there during the the second Saturday reenactments and trade/craft demonstrations it's extra immersive. Everyone I had the pleasure of speaking with was so knowledgeable and kind. My husband and I had such a great experience. It's location is just enough out of the way avoid the highway and town traffic but close enough to make a quick drive into New Braunfels and visit all the popular spots. The interior of the barn cabin was quirky and cosy. It was fun having a space right next to the woodworking and crafting shops. It was also just a few steps from the main museum building. Will definitely return!

Beautiful location and beautiful place. My girlfriend and I wanted a relaxing, simple getaway from busy cities and that's exactly what we got. Would recommend to anyone.

This is my second time staying at the cozy Airbnb for Christmas. It’s so quiet and private and feels like you’re staying in the country even tho you’re right in the heart of New Braunfels. Great space to stay with my 2 Boston terriers. Justin is super responsive and gives great instructions.
