We had a lovely few days at Monica’s place. Really cosy and comfortable, with everything you need for a home away from home. The village pub The Cheshire Cheese is minutes away and serves great food. Longnor is a beautiful village and perfectly situated to explore the Peaks.

Lovely cottage, great location, very quiet, Longnor is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The local pub does lovely homemade meals. We had everything we needed for a lovely long weekend

Monica was so responsive and her place was a beautiful place to stay and have as a base to visit the Peak District. A beautiful big cottage with a real fire and a great location. Was very clean and with all the amenities too :) Would stay again!

We are always looking to stay somewhere different in the Peak District every year, and thought we would try Longnor, as the cottage suited our needs. The village was very quaint which offered a local shop and a pub/restaurant which even had entertainment on Easter Sunday. The food was good too! We were lucky to have parking as some cottages don't offer it and when unloading the car the neighbours showed us a photo of how it looked prior renovation and spoke of the history behind the cottage. The cottage was very spacious and felt we had plenty of room for the four of us. It was tastefully decorated and would have been happy to have moved straight in. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, nuts and chocolate, which went down well. Also, wood to have a fire, which was needed as it was cold. Two of the beds were extremely comfy and would like to know where the pillows were bought from. Overall, a lovely break, in a lovely cottage, in a lovely village.
