We had a wonderful stay! The place was so cute, we felt like we were in a real treehouse! We woke up to birds singing every morning. It was a great location in Kona.

Michael’s Treehouse is our absolute favorite place to stay on the Big Island. This was our second time staying here and we can’t wait to come back yet again. The location is perfect, you can walk to Magic Sands in 5 mins, catch the trolley to Kona right outside, or drive to Kona in a few mins. Kahaluu is also just a few mins drive down the road for some amazing snorkeling. We really enjoy the ocean view out on the lanai surrounded by plumeria and adorable gecko friends. Keahou shopping center has a really great farmers market on Saturdays- don’t miss it!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the treehouse; Michael and Victoria were very responsive and offered lovely hospitality. I will echo the thoughts of other visitors, in that if you are not a dead-to-the-world sort of sleeper, this may not be the spot for you. We live in a very loud urban area, and thought we could sleep through it. Obviously, no fault of the host, and they are very kind to offer ear plugs. Ali’i drive is a narrow oceanfront road, and the intersection next to the AirBnB seems to operate as a sort of drag racing zone all hours of the night. Again, nothing they can do about that, but something to bear in mind. Side note: Magic Sands Grill is not to be missed, those fish tacos were absolutely life changing. And Lily, a server there, is a delight!

We loved staying at the tree house. It was a great location and so clean. Would stay longer if we could.
