My stay at this cottage was very near perfect! The cottage was so clean that I would have had no problem doing surgery anywhere in it. :) My wife is a clean freak and she was very impressed. If I am ever in the area again and need a place for my wife and me to stay, you can be assured this is the first place I will look. We were in town for a funeral and I appreciated the time to sit in a comfortable, peaceful, and private setting overlooking the pond. The front porch is very inviting and it was nice to sit and relax for a moment.

We felt right at home. It was quiet and comfortable and went above and beyond our expectations for how clean it was. Wildarene is the consummate hostess and we will definitely make this our go-to get-away. We appreciated her little extra touches.

Had issues when I arrived, door code wasn't working and when I did get inside the place was clean except for a ton of small black bugs that were at the doorways and throughout the house. The host went and got bug spray and sprayed then mopped. I appreciate all that she did but it was about 1hr-1.5hrs before she was out of there. Was inconvenient but it had to be taken care of. These bugs apparently were "swarming" outside and a bunch made it inside - nothing the host could have done. I would stay there again.
