We had a very comfortable stay this time. Check-in was set for the morning to coincide with our flight, so we were able to leave our luggage and go. The communication was also returned frequently, so we were able to continue our trip with peace of mind. This time I was ready to work, sightsee and cook. The kitchen was small but adequate. One thing was that there were only very small, not very sharp knives. This is not surprising as French and Japanese people have different sensibilities. If you want to cook well, I recommend you bring a petit knife or something similar. I regret that I didn't get to meet Gilles. I hope to meet him next time!

Perfect location. Very accommodating host. This small unit has everything you need for a stay in Paris. Loved the big windows you can open to the street. If you’re a finicky sleeper the couch/bed is not terribly comfy. Overall, very charming!

J’ai passé un très bon mois ici. L’appartement avait tout ce dont j’avais besoin, et je ne l’ai pas trouvé trop petit du tout, comme je l’avais légèrement envisagé. Bien sûr que ce n’est pas énorme mais pour moi, étant tout seul, c’était parfait. Ce que j’ai le plus apprécié cependant, c’est l’emplacement. La rue est étonnamment paisible, en dépit de la rue des martyrs, maintenant ma rue préféré de toute Paris, qui ne se trouve qu’à quelques pas de la porte. Il y a plein de magasins indépendants, boulangeries et cafés, et en même temps il n’y a pas trop de touristes. De plus, on est à 5/10 minutes de Montmartre à pied, et il y a beaucoup de gares de métro à proximité qui fournissent un bon choix de lignes. Je suis tellement reconnaissant pour tout ce que Nathalie et Gilles ont fait. En particulier, merci à Nathalie pour m’avoir invité à prendre un verre avec elle, c’est l’un des grand nombre de superbes souvenirs que je prendrai de mon séjour à cet appartement.

This apartment is exactly as described and perfect for a longer stay as a student. It is small and easy to manage. Having a washer/dryer inside the unit was greatly appreciated. The street itself is very calm, but there are a ton of adorable restaurants and shops literally around the corner. (Fromage Sauvage was my favorite for the cheeses.) The 9ème is very accessible to other areas of Paris, and Sacré Coeur is just a short walk up the hill. Highly recommended if you managed to get your hands on this place.

We had a great stay at the apartment!! Such a cozy place and the perfect kitchen setup which allowed us to cook meals when we wanted. Great location, close to many restaurants and cafes, very short walk to transit, and totally walkable down to the Seine. Can’t wait to come back!!
