Lilac Hedge Farm is a hidden gem and our experience was simply amazing! Heidi made the whole check-in process seamless and the maps and instructions to the airbnb were thorough and clear. Even though our stay was during a rainy March weekend, the farm was so peaceful. The animals right outside the windows of the house were calming and adorable! The Farm Store is immaculate and full of delicious items. We enjoyed a creamy, yummy ice cream at the ice cream bar inside the store. One of my friends bought a dozen farm fresh eggs, bacon, and an onion and made us all a delicious breakfast. The airbnb was extremely clean and smelled so fresh when we walked in. The kitchen is huge and had a coffee maker, which we enjoyed the fresh coffee bought at the store. The bathrooms were sparkling and the showers were very comfortable and clean. The bedrooms were also immaculate and all of the linens in the bedroom were fresh. The beds were also comfy! The farm staff were so nice!We cannot wait to return!

We had a great time. Heidi went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The kids loved seeing the yaks, emus, and ostrich. Having the farm store on location was very convenient when we needed to grab a few things like eggs/bagels or even frozen dinner food. We were very comfortable at the property and would stay again. Thank you!

A nice little house that served its purpose being close to Wachusett Mountain. The farm store next door is great and convenient for busy families. The only issue we found was the person living downstairs with some extremely loud dogs. Having booked this trip with 2 small babies and 2 toddlers, having loud dogs wake them up, and then the person downstairs shouting through the floorboards at the toddlers for running around at midday certainly put a dampener on the experience. Great place but maybe not for young families.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the charming property during a family trip. My sister and her family, visiting from Dallas, joined me for this winter getaway. The house's proximity to Wachusett, less than 15 minutes away, was ideal, especially for my nephews who were thrilled to learn snowboarding. What made our stay truly special was the location on Lilac Hedge Farm. The opportunity to see the farm animals was a highlight, particularly for the kids. The farm store and ice cream added a delightful touch to our experience, although the restaurant/bar was closed for the winter. (We’ll have to come back soon!) Despite a rainy first day, the property provided a comfortable and accessible refuge, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The home's cozy ambiance and the variety of activities available on the farm made our stay enjoyable and memorable.

We were constantly killing flies, very dusty and dirty, one bedroom had what appeared to be insect casings on sheets, wiped kitchen tablecloth only to lift dirty wipe when finished, came home on Christmas Eve to horrible smell of smoke coming from basement living space. Very concerning since one of the guests was early in pregnancy. Had to open windows on a chilly evening to assist with smell. Texted Heidi, the host, but received no reply. Extremely disappointed because this was Christmas weekend and all I wanted to do was get out of the Airbnb because it was dirty and odorous. Long trip from Texas to have my worst Airbnb experience. Would not recommend and wish I could receive a refund.
