Located between the urban area of the capital and its green belt, Chelles has 640 hectares of green spaces which represent a third of its surface area. Bois des Coudreaux is ten hectares, offers a playground and a fitness trail. The five-hectare Parc du Souvenir Émile-Fouchard is located in the city center. Located in the city centre, Chelles - Gournay station is served by Line "E" of the RER to the "Magenta/Gare du Nord" and "Haussmann-Saint-Lazare" stations at the rate of 4 to 8 trains per hour and per direction.
Transilien Paris-Meaux Line "P" with 15min direct train access to Paris (Gare de l’Est ) at the rate of 2 to 4 trains per hour and per direction.
