I will start by saying it was much appreciated for Ben to allow an early check in and accommodate my booking error. Thank you for that. However upon arrival the house was not cleaned. Dirty linen in the laundry baskets , the bathrooms had not been cleaned , kitchen counter not cleaned , the refrigerator needed to be washed out. There were no cleaning supplies so I had to go to Walmart and deep clean to even be comfortable. The rooms are advertised as if there are beds in each room but that is not the case. There’s a king bed downstairs with a walk in bathroom very nice however not clean! The covers and sheets were stained had to purchase a blanket and sheet set for that bed, the upstairs room with the alleged Queen bed is just an air mattress not a bed! Bedding was needed for that one too! The other room with 2 twin size beds the sheets were stained didn’t even bother to go in there or sit on those beds. The gate was broken open to anyone homicide last night at the corner store. DANGER

Ben was a great host and he accommodated our early check in. The only things that stood out was the area the place was located in. Definitely the hood. I’m talking the corner store was open 24/7 and there was men out there the whole time. They even made a makeshift fire. If you are a group of women make sure a man comes with you. The place is gated which made it feel a bit safer. There were a lot of stray dogs too which made my heart clench. I was Constantly being stared at and hollered at which was definitely not something I expected. Not a place to take a walk around the neighborhood. The place itself was very pretty, but I could tell this was an Airbnb place only. They had barely any Tupperware or items to use in the house. I guess I’m used to an Airbnb that has water or some items to use in case. This is literally just a beautiful empty house. Also some of the chairs were broken. Make sure to bring everything you could possibly need. From shampoo to cups. You are gonna need it.

Ben’s place was beautiful & the pictures match the inside ! The neighborhood was my only concern & trying to park 2 or more cars is very difficult , the parking lot is really small & tight , i dont recommend any SUV vehicles ..the home was beautiful just in the wrong spot ! the stay was amazing overall 9/10 !

Loved this and the fact that it was gated. Super clean and the host was very helpful and responsive.

Ben was a great host great communication and very professional would definitely book again if I’m in the Houston area.
