Shangri La Retreat was awesome! We stayed here for the Two Step Inn music festival in Georgetown and it was only 15 minutes away from one of the high schools they shuttle from! The house was immaculate with beautiful scenery and plenty of space for the 6 of us! We will definitely be coming back. Worth the $$$ and you’ll leave there way happier that you chose it!
This place is beautiful! My friends and I came into town for a wedding and this was the perfect spot to accommodate all of us but still provide privacy. The master bedroom feels like it’s in a different house completely and my fiancé and I loved that. The ambiance out at the fire was comfy and relaxing. Exactly what all of us needed after long days of travel and preparation for the wedding. Multiple people said they will remember this house to suggest to future traveling friends coming to the area. One con was that there was no coffee to make in the morning. The host provided everything else (pot, creamer, sugar etc) but not worthy of anything less than a 5 star review. We could have easily brought our own or asked they if they could provide but it wasn’t a big deal. I will suggest this home to everyone I know coming to the Georgetown area. My family and I enjoyed our stay! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The host was very easy to communicate with. Only thing I would say the outside and patio was not clean we had to blow and clean ourselves when we got there thought the grass would be mowed we went easter weekend and kids did Easter egg hunt so we were hoping it was mowed. The windows had no curtain so it you can see right into bedrooms and bathrooms which I didn't like for changing and showering purposes. other thank everything else was great.
Absolutely incredible spot, 100% would recommend if you want seclusion and peace, but still incredibly easy to pop into town for a nice dinner. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Will be back for sure.
