Words can not express how beautiful and peaceful Charlene’s bed and breakfast was. The hospitality was above and beyond what my family expected. Was like home away from home. The home cooked dinner was so delicious would highly recommend. Private and quiet. Very close to the beach and that huge backyard was the perfect country escape. Thank you again Charlene and we look forward to staying again.

We have stayed in many Air BnBs over the years, Charlene’s home is by far the best. The host puts alot of work to make sure that your stay feels welcome and enjoyable. From the very first communication with Charlene, the warm welcome, the cleanliness, the attention to details, the thoughtful provision of all the comforts of home are outstanding. On our last day, we had to leave quite early to return home, therefore, we were unable to enjoy another delicious breakfast, however , Charlene offered healthy snacks so that we could eat on the way home. Thank you Charlene for being such a thoughtful caring host, you deserve much more than a 5 star rating. Notre séjour chez ‘The Ashbourne” a été très agréable. N’hésitez pas à réserver.

Charlene is kind, friendly, warm and welcoming. Her home is inviting, peaceful and offers the perfect amount of comfort. It’s got everything you need even if you’ve forgotten a couple things at home. The outside scenery is serene, open and picturesque. You have the perfect view of all the best stars in the night sky. We couldn’t have had a better host or place to stay and we’ll definitely be back soon!!

Charlene is a born host! She was absolutely charming, and gave us a quick tour (we arrived fairly late in the evening) of the space, which was spotless. The bed was comfy, and I was able to have a cup of tea before turning it for the night. We were also impressed at the amount of supplies in the bathroom - if you'd forgotten anything, you can rest assure Charlene has it! Having to leave fairly early to catch a flight, we also really appreciated the hearty breakfast! Cannot rate Charlene's place highly enough!

A place where you feel like home. Breakfast served by the host was delicious and nutritious. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the stay and will come back if we are in the area again!!!
