Wow Wow Wow!!! This place was truly authentic and amazing - a little slice of peaceful heaven. If you want an unique experience with fabulous customer in beautiful surrounds look no further!!! The Hacienda has a wonderfully colorful history and Dianne and her family are now the owners writing their own story. They are polishing up this grand old lady of a hacienda bit by bit to get her back to where she belongs - a jewel in the PR mountains. Super clean, friendly, peaceful and a vibe that I can’t really describe. I’m recommending this place to all my friends who come to PR and other social media avenues Thanks for experience and will be following you to keep up with your journey. 💙🇵🇷🇦🇺🙏
This place is a gem. It’s quirky, fun and romantic. Definitely off the beaten path but very close to San Juan and the Airport. It’s a legit movie star mansion in the mountains overlooking downtown San Juan. Excellent base camp for exploring the island. Highly recommended.
We LOVED staying at Hacienda Montana Sonodora. Dianne and Cordell and the friendliest, most gracious hosts. The property was stunning. The food was delicious. One thing to note is outside our window there was a particularly diligent rooster — he took his duties seriously and cocka-doodle-do’d multiple times during the night. Our only regret is not staying longer at HMS. We can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing weekend I spent at Hacienda Montana Sonadora. It was definitely the most unique and grand airbnb experience I have had to date. The photos do not capture the enormity of the property, and the beauty of each spot. Majestic pool, gardens, many great spots to behold. It was also fascinating to learn the details of it’s history, along with its future plans. The owners are quite an inspiring couple, and I am very glad to have met them. The food was amazing, as was the hospitality. The mountain air, and pleasant vibes, were deeply relaxing. The property is very close to San Juan and in good proximity to a variety of places in the city, along with regional sites in the mountains. I feel it is ideally located to capture the best of all worlds. I can definitely see myself heading back to this place from time to time, as it is an excellent escape from the city - and a great place to relax and rejuvenate.

Some Words about Dianne & Cordell: Dreams do come true with hard work, goals and determination :) Our recently restored B+B Hacienda Montana Sonadora, sits on 9.2 acres of lush green mountain top terrain with amazing sprawling views all the way to San Juan and the Atlantic Coast-line. Breathtaking sunsets can be seen all around the property. All rooms/suites are perfectly appointed for guests to have privacy and comfort. The massive island oasis pool, swim up bar and outdoor space speaks for itself and was magnificently constructed. Initial dream of transforming this 10,000 square foot mansion into a Bed & Breakfast began years ago when new architectural design and renovations started. Husband and Wife duo Cord and Dianne had this dream of their own and spent years looking for the perfect location to create such a place that was right to raise their 2 Daughters and share the beauty of Puerto Rico with the world. On one of their many trips back to Puerto Rico they viewed this listing (1 of hundreds). Their mouths dropped in awe and excitement. With continuation of restoration Hacienda Montana Sonadora was then born, bringing previous dreams of one couple, and future dreams of another, into fruition. Their lifelong dream adventure began!
