We loved the space and being right on the ocean. Saw whales at least twice. Jim and Cyndi were both super nice, helpful and responsive.

We loved our stay and was impressed with the location and the view! The condo was well decorated, clean and well-stocked with supplies needed for cooking, beach accessories, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. Our communication was with Jim was easy, timely, and helpful. We hope to come back on our next stay in Kona!

Jim kindly let us check in a little early because the previous cleaning was done. The location of Jim’s place is great, in a lush gated community at the very edge of lava rocks and the ocean. Tennis/Pickle-Ball fans can also bring their rackets for the amazing-looking courts.

We had a wonderful stay at Jim's townhome! We spent a lot of time sitting on the lanai looking out in to the ocean, listening to the waves, and sometimes feeling the splash of the water. Although you are next to other townhomes, the neighbors were all very respectful and it felt very private. Very serene. The sunsets each night were marvelous and we were able to see whales! The townhome itself is very clean, the kitchen had every amenity needed to make meals, beach chairs, towels, ice chest are provided so you can walk down to a nearby beach and bring some snacks. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy. Highly recommend!

Jim is an excellent host, he responds immediately and is always friendly in his responses. Jim offered solutions to any issue we had. Jim's condo has the most beautiful view of the ocean and sitting out on the lanai to watch waves crash and the whales breach was the best part of staying at Jim's. The condo has all the essentials and is free from clutter. There are board games, outdoor sports equipment and everything you need for a beach day. The kitchen is nicely equipped with all the essentials. The condo is not within walking distance of very many restaurant or shopping, but there is a shopping center about a half a mile away (there was a lot of traffic on the road so, we did not walk to the center). Downtown Kona is about 5 miles away and it takes around 15 minutes to get to by car. There are beaches very close by and the closest one has great snorkeling. Our stay at Jim's condo was an overall great experience and Jim is the best host I have dealt with on Airbnb.
