The Butler House on Grand is near downtown, at the center of Des Moines, in a beautiful historic neighborhood. The picturesque Greenwood Park & Rose Garden is directly across the street, offering walking trails, a bike path, Ashworth swimming pool, playground equipment, and a pond designed by world-renowned landscape artist, Mary Miss. The Des Moines Art Center is just outside our front door, and bars, restaurants, and shops are just around the corner on Ingersoll Avenue. Insurance companies are a stone’s throw away, and the interstate is nearby too- making us a convenient stay for business travelers and vacationers alike.

The Butler House on Grand is located on the main thoroughfare of Des Moines. You can find convenient parking behind the house, by our main entrance.
