Anita is the perfect host. If there is such a thing as a mega host, she should be top of the list. she made our stay extra special, I shan't say how or people may come to expect it, but she is a great host, warm and welcoming and helpful. the train carriage itself is both smaller and bigger than I expected. my first and only concern was where are we supposed to sit and relax? there are 2 stools immediately obvious. what wasn't as obvious was why.... till I found the pull out table behind the stairs to the bed. this is good for eating from, but no longer. there is a small sofa which we used for very little. the main comfortable place is the bed. turn the tv to face you, choose a dvd and by gosh is it comfortable. bathroom is nice, big enough shower for 2..... the hot tub was out of order, and WiFi in the accommodation wasn't working. this was made up by the pool. I've never been envious before, but that pool and the space to relax, with no sun, it was 19⁰ by the pool, 28⁰ in it.

Anita is a super friendly host. Going out of her way to ensure we had a good stay. unfortunately the carriage isn't especially luxury, the kitchen is just a microwave and kettle, she did provide us with a slow cooker which was lovely! the pool is really cool the wifi doesn't work in the carriage, there was no additional toilet roll which she did sort this when asked immediately. the luxury description doesn't fit the interior at all, it is basic at best. the joint work is shoddy, the floor is uneven. an electric shower. the mattress is super comfy though, there are only 3 pillows and then a bunch of small cushions. The host is delightful and really goes out of her way to make sure the stay is as good as possible. she let us use her grill and pool house which was really lovely. she is an absolute diamond

Great & peaceful location with many good local restaurants walkable distance away in Cowbridge. Somewhere a bit different to stay for a weekend away.

Anita was an absolutely lovely host, so so friendly and easy to talk too. Very welcoming and so approachable. The renovated carriage was such a sweet little spot and the pool was very nice to swim in as it was heated and felt very clean. Thank you for our stay Anita!!
