We loved staying here while we were in Maine! It was a cozy home base to have while exploring Acadia National Park and Bangor. I would definitely stay here again if we're in the area in the future!

Absolutely stunning in every way! Perfect base to explore Acadia, Bangor, and many seaside locations. Hospitality is unparalleled and the property is gorgeous and very clean. Host Amy ensured we arrived safely each night by helping make sure lights were on to find our way on the rustic road. Our only regret is having too busy of an itinerary and not spending some leisurely days at the property. This is our favorite Air BNB to date and we look forward to returning in the future!

Our stay at Amy and Frank's cottage on Alamoosook Lake was absolutely wonderful. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful, clean, quiet and stocked with everything anyone could need. Amy was so welcoming and truly made us feel at home. She provided plenty of local recommendations and let us take the canoe out on the lake, which was amazing. Lake Alamoosook is truly a magical and peaceful place, and we would love to visit again. Rachel & Chris

This property met all of our expectations. As others have suggested, Amy was a wonderful host. She helped us with the canoe and shared vegetables from her garden. On a rainy day she recommended a museum. Perfect.

We enjoyed taking the canoe out to the lake during our stay! Also took a ride to Belfast to get a waterfront dinner. Very nice.
