I've had a wonderful extended stay at Serendip Villa. It is slightly hidden from the main road and major tourist locations, remarkably peacefull and quite, amid lush jungles full of birds and occasional langurs. Caretakers are doing a great job of hospitality, keeping place very neat and well maintained. Few grocery shops are nearby with all cooking essentials and several very nice beaches are easily reachable. Would definitely recommend to stay in this more authentic part of Sri Lanka for purer local experience

I stayed for over a month at Serendip villa, and really enjoyed my stay, the bed was very comfortable and AC worked well, there is a good size kitchen to use with everything you need to cook with. Presad, Jayantha and Nisa are very friendly and very helpful with anything you need from bikes, scooters to local recommendations. Nisa made me a very good breakfast of tropical fruits and eggs every morning!! Jayantha was alway preparing amazing Sri Lanka currys for me and is the best tut tut driver who knows all the local spots. They have become my Sri Lanka family!! Thankyou 🙏🙏

My review of this property is awesome and helpful staff, room is clean and confortable. Breakfast is tasty and come together with fresh fruit. Silence at night and I have a peaceful sleep. Beautiful and grennery garden where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. Good and fast WIFI connection. Supermarket 1 minutes away and 6 minutes walking to talalla beach. I highly recommended this place and will stay here again.

The location is in a rural village with grocery shops within walking distance. Although the owner lives in Italy he is responsive to messages. The staff is kind and hardworking. J.A. Saman, the on-site house manager works day and night striving to make guests comfortable and offers tuk tuk rides if you don't drive. Unfortunately the roof is failing which made sleeping very difficult.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful villa for a month, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The grocery store is less than 5 mins away, and Talalla beach is within walking distance. It has all the amenities I needed to feel at home! The villa's standout feature was the exceptional hospitality by JA Saman who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. He provided valuable insights into the local culture. He took me to some of the best off-the-beaten-path places in the city, making my visit unforgettable. Also, Manju was amazing at cooking and prepared some of the most amazing home-cooked meals I've ever had. The house was immaculate, surrounded by lush greenery, a tree house, and beautiful mango & avocado trees that added to the property's charm. The owner, Saman, has impeccable taste in architecture and landscaping, making this property not only stunning but also incredibly welcoming. They also sell precious stones at a great price!
