A must stay! A peaceful getaway next to the river, perfect for a large group. Jamie was especially accommodating with our situation. The set up was perfect for our group with plenty of spaces to sit. And with the bedrooms on separate floors from the main area there were no noise issues. We loved the trail on the property to have a taste of the nature around.

The Riverfront Chalet provided us with a much-needed three-night respite from city life, with it’s private mountain setting, spacious house, large windows, and rushing river. We appreciated cooking our meals in the large open kitchen and relaxing in the main living area. Upstairs, the two bedrooms both had king beds, with plenty of extra blankets. The master bathroom boasted a large jetted soaker tub. The house was clean and clutter-free. Although much larger than needed for the two of us and our pup, the privacy and quiet of the house was worth the splurge. The forest trail loop on the property was convenient for short dog walks. We really enjoyed the “Wildwood Recreation Site” and nature reserve, with its family-friendly walking trails along the Salmon River. Communication with the hosts was super fast, and we had no problem checking in or out. As others have reviewed, this location is a great place to stay. Thank you Jaime and Lauren!

The location of this home was really good. We a good distance to travel to Mount Hood and Dandy. There was also some really good local places to eat. The river was beautiful in the morning and does look like the photographs. There was some issues we had with cleaning, it appears that the cleaning services used did not thoroughly clean the home as we found trash and/or unfinished drinks throughout the home that were there prior to our arrival. We noted this to the owners and they were accommodating and apologetic. I would like to note for any woman taking a girls only trip who are not used to being in woods or being isolated, this may not be the right move for you. It feels like an older cabin so we did get scared a few times. This house is definetly for larger groups as well.
