We were very pleased with Kathy’s place it is very close to the waikiki area easy to get in and out to do activities around the island It has everything you need to relax after a busy day out exploring the surroundings the kitchen is very functional AC works great We had trouble using the tv when we arrived and she responded right away to help us We usually left the place early after coking breakfast but the place always seem quiet I would recommend and come back to her place is exactly as described

Kathy's place was excellent. Everything as described; clean, quiet, cozy place. Parking was definitely a plus. Very walkable community with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Waikiki not too far off either. Kathy was a great host and was very responsive. Would definitely recommend if you prefer a peaceful place to rest and personally I can't wait to stay again at her lovely place.

The place is close to downtown and Waikiki beach. Oahu island is not that big. You can reach any destination within an hour by car. We rented a car from the airport and Kathy's place offers a parking spot. Kathy's place is ok for two people for a few days. Anymore and it will be congested. Kitchen is functional. We cooked our breakfast and dinners. Ate out lunch at various places. Big wave shrimp truck has the best shrimps meal. Ono Seafood has good Poke. There is a korean supermarket called Palama close to the place. We did our grocery shopping from there. Decent price and good choice.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this place and I absolutely love it. I feel safe and at home.

Disappointing. Described as “lovely 1 bedroom loft.” This was not a loft, not a 1 bedroom, but rather a small studio with a half wall in the middle, and was utilitarian at best. There was no dedicated workspace; in fact, there were no chairs at all, only 2 low stools. We had planned to have relatives come over for dessert but the place was too small and we were frankly embarrassed, so we me them at Denny’s instead. This is Hawaii where is it hot even at night but the only blanket available was a very thick comforter more useful for winter in the East coast of the mainland. Overall, it was tolerable but well below what was described and what we expected, hence our disappointment.
